Description: การแปลตีความข้อมูลพื้นที่ป่าไม้ จากข้อมูลภาพถ่ายจากดาวเทียม LANDSAT-8 ปี พ.ศ. 2556-2557 , ข้อมูลภาพถ่ายจากดาวเทียมไทยโชติ ปี พ.ศ. 2556-2557 และ ข้อมูลภาพถ่ายจาก Google Earth ร่วมกับข้อมูลพื้นที่ป่าไม้ที่มีในอดีต ได้แก่ ข้อมูลการจำแนกการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินปี 2554-2555 จากสทอภ.และฐานข้อมูลอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องโดยนิยามการแปลพื้นที่ป่าไม้จากภาพถ่ายดาวเทียม คือ พื้นที่ปกคลุมของพืชพรรณที่สามารถจำแนกได้ว่าเป็นไม้ยืนต้นปกคลุมเป็นผืนต่อเนื่องขนาดไม่น้อยกว่า 3.125 ไร่ และหมายรวมถึงทุ่งหญ้าและลานหินที่มีอยู่ตามธรรมชาติที่ปรากฎล้อมรอบด้วยพื้นที่ที่จำแนกได้ว่าเป็นพื้นที่ป่าไม้ โดยไม่รวมถึง สวนยูคาลิปตัส หรือพื้นที่ที่มีต้นไม้แต่ประเมินได้ว่าผลผลิตหลักของการดำเนินการไม่ใช่เนื้อไม้ ได้แก่ พื้นที่วนเกษตร สวนผลไม้ สวนยางพารา และสวนปาล์ม
